Family Visitor Programs
Most parents, especially new parents, need additional knowledge, skills, and support to reach their full potential in family building and nurturing and raising children.
Family Visitor Programs services can be provided in your home, in our office, or in another location, without any charge to you. We provide them in both English and Spanish.
Initially all pregnant women or parents of a young baby, interested in agency services, receive Bright by Three “A” materials. This “visit” can occur in your home, in our office or the library or in any other space you choose. We focus on the first year of your baby’s life. The kit includes brain development activities, early literacy, basic childcare, and community resources for new parents.
During the time our staff visits with you, they will discuss your need for additional parenting support. If you are interested in receiving services, our Visitor will offer you the opportunity to enroll in an agency program which best meets your needs. It may be as simple as choosing to have a follow up Bright by Three visit when their child is one year old (focus on early literacy) and two years old (focus on early discipline), along with weekly reminder text messages.
You can also choose to enroll in one of our free programs that are available in both Spanish and English:
Families living in the Aspen to Parachute region of Colorado can choose to receive services from one of our agency’s programs. Family Visitor’s Program has a program for every family and every family is welcome. Services can be provided in your home, in our office, or in another location. There is no charge to you for any of our programs.
